Ryusuke Nanki has designed "River/Table".







The following is explanation of the work.

It was necessary to exhibit many elements which are 100 statements and the 100 books which refer to those backgrounds and the product which embodies those thoughts. A table like a river with the welter and the heave which also become about 40 meters was designed to show those as one "flow".
A showpiece and illumination are suppressed lower than the eye level attentively. When people set foot, as a result, It was confronted with the landscape "quiet", space was born.
A table is to change the height and changes into a bench and a way. People have tended to migrate by changing the height recently.
Territory was enclosed square by the table, symbolic space in a traditional Japanese house was interpreted by plants and the plasma display monitor made revolve 90 times and new space of "alcove(Tokonoma)" was expressed
