CIRCLING Trace / Floating
This is flagship shop for a women’s clothing brand called ‘Eifini’ which runs 180 shops in China.
In order to spotlight the clothes, we integrated the floor, wall and ceiling by the use of white, so to lose the existence of other elements in the space. Equipments, such as the counter are design in a very simple way, as if raising up from the tiled floor. Then, we use a ‘pipe like hunger’ of 250 meters to run through the space.
The ‘pipe’ is supported by transparent acrylic rods from all directions, which makes it to look like being release from gravity, floating and running freely in the space. While maintaining the transparency in the space, the pipe transforms itself to divide up and create different scenes: By folding the pipe several times a tunnel like entrance is formed; a display area is formed inside the whirlpool of the pipe; A fitting room can be created by simply hang a curtain over the pipe; The distribution of these scenes enrich the entire spaces, also makes it a diversified space.
The track of the floating pipe looks like the trace draw by the movement of a conductor’s baton. The pipe emphasizes the presence of clothes, but at the same time, it insists the existence of itself, drawing a smooth trace. As the concert goes on, the clothes and the pipe take turns at playing the lead. Visit this place, just feel the melody of our orchestra.
We would like any woman to enjoy the melody changes in each season.
