architecture , feature

Shingo MASUDA, Katsuhisa OTSUBO, Yuta SHIMADA have designed "Little hilltop with wind view". This project receives a prize SD Review 2008 that is famous japanese architectural prize for young architect.

The wind began to breathe.
A few nice shaped clouds flow in fine skies
windmills on roofs faraway make an arc.
Leaves of the white birch and flowering grasses rustle with a slight breath, and
the long and thin building in the distance, slowly and heavily
enjoyed the breeze, shared breath with the environment, and
began to flow.

Two irregular chairs inside the flowing building.
Had someone been here a moment ago
The sunlight that sprinkle from the high ceiling
cradle and fulfill the inside as if in water.
Sitting in the chair, and looking out from the uncertainty of the time.
The window, as if throbbing, faintly and gently trimmed
the beautiful scenery spread outside.
